Excellent masala dosa and idli. Make sure to ask for the green and red chutneys. Dosa was crispy and there was a lot of flavorful filling inside. Service was fast and attentive. Highly recommend!

Service was great with attentive waiters who patiently described the food to me, as I am unfamiliar. Highly recommend the paper dosa!

Came here on a Sunday for early lunch. The cheese dosa and idlis were great for the kids. I ordered a chai which tasted great. The puris in the puri bhaji was delicious - might possibly be the best puris I've ever had. Also ordered chapati and dal. The dahi wada was too spicy for me. Mango kulfi was delicious - you can order it but free as well which is great for those with allergies. The restaurant was crowded with people from other ethnicities as well. Great vibe. Quick and pleasant service. Best restaurant on the strip for sure.

We decided to try a new (to us) Indian place in Artesia. Artesia is Indian food heaven! We ended up at Udupi as it offered vegan & vegetarian options. Of course we went for the Dosa and a thali but we also discovered Uthapam which we hadn't had before. I have to say everything we ordered was delicious. The thali was very good with a lot of interesting and tasty offerings. We had a vegetable curry that was really good. I loved the Uthapam and the incredible sauce that came with it made from cashews. So good! We also tried the mango lassi and fresh line soda. Both were good! Lots of food and we were all stuffed! So my overall feeling is that the food here is on point. I appreciated the excellent service and speedy delivery of our order. The only downside is the ambiance which is very plain, but we were there at lunch and just wanted a great meal. I think it's more of a family friendly restaurant so not focused on creating something fancy. I would definitely go back and I can definitely recommend it to others.

This place is sooo good! I grew up eating South Indian dishes even though I'm Punjabi and it's so hard to find a place that has flavorful dosas but this place hits out of the park. Even the chana batura is soo good and it's HUGE. we were able to share one dosa with 2 people and all 4 of us shared the Chana batura. The service is so quick and great. Sometimes this place can be fairly busy so just be quick to come in and grab a seat. It's lovely indoors since a lot of families are enjoying all varieties of food and it's perfect after a day of shopping.

Stopped in for a quick snack; everything we ordered was spicy. But delicious. The staff were good about making sure we knew how to eat everything and were friendly and efficient. This is not the fancy type ambiance, more very utilitarian. Parking was easy with street parking right up front.

I came here craving dosas, and the overall food experience did not disappoint! Appetizer: We started with rasam and vada, a first for me. The rasam was a flavorful, tart soup served piping hot. The vada, soaked in the rasam, was absolutely delicious, and we devoured it. Dosas we ordered: Masala Dosa Mysore Masala Dosa Mysore Dosa Gunpowder Butter Dosa Every dosa was good, and there were no leftovers--everyone cleaned their plates! The Gunpowder Butter Dosa was the standout favorite. The sambar and coconut chutney were spot-on and complemented the dosas beautifully. The dosa had a light crisp on the outside Service and Ambiance: The service was basic --efficient but nothing extraordinary. The bathroom was untidy, and the ambiance was minimal for a sit-down restaurant. If you're a fan of dosas, Udipi Palace is worth a visit, though don't expect much in terms of atmosphere or extras.

Indian food is one of my favorites, even went to India just to eat. We are lucky to live near Little India. Decided to try Udupi, it's been a while since I've had Dosa. Wasn't in the mood for a potato one, and the waiter suggested the paneer one. Great suggestion and happy I listened to him. We also ordered the thali and it was a lot of food. Clean place, good service and delicious food.
